Richard Staveley has led businesses focusing on IT, engineering and Government. At IBM, he held P&L responsibility for a GBP 150 million services and systems integration business. He has first-hand experience of M&A: he ran the IBM business which merged with PwC's consulting practice as well as the data sciences company which IBM acquired and where Richard was commercial lead.
After completing a one-year executive programme at INSEAD, Richard trained as an executive coach at Henley Management School. He now practices as a commercial coach and mentor. His recent assignments have included working with the managing director of one of the largest TV and film content providers in the world, the CEOs and boards of SMEs in the technology and service sectors and a leader in the Ministry of Defence.
Richard has an MA in Modern History from Oxford. He subsequently joined the Royal Navy where he was a navigator and led a team of Royal Marine divers.
